OUR SERVICES
The Cameron Highlands Equine Spelling Station Team includes a General Manager, Assistant Manager Leslie Ellis as well as qualified yard managers, grooms and office staff working together to ensure each horse is given the attention needed daily. Due to the environment and daily care of each individual horse, it doesn’t take long for the horses that come to us to fully relax, restoring their body and mind.
Our services are mainly based on the 3 different groups stated below :
THE RACE HORSE SPELLING STATION
Designed to match the needs of thoroughbred racehorses.
Services offered :
- Loose boxes
- Turn out paddocks
- Horse walker
- Swimming lane
- Feed catered to match each horses individual needs
- Grooming
- Plenty of fresh green grass given daily
- Extra care given to horses with injuries or issues needing monitored
- Equine Dentist visits on request
- Clipping
- Shoeing
- Veterinary – weekly visits by the in house Vet– worming and medical care
- Transportation (based on sharing a float) 1 groom per 3 horses for the journey
THE MEADOWS
A stunning place to send your horses to relax after a hard season or to retire.
- Open stables with walk in walk out paddocks attached
- Feed catered to match each horses individual needs
- Grooming
- Plenty of fresh green grass given daily
- Hoof trimming
- Large grass turn out paddocks
- Equine Dentist visits on request
- Clipping
- Shoeing
- Veterinary – weekly visits by the in house Vet– worming and medical care
- Transportation (based on sharing a float) 1 groom per 3 horses for the journey
- If your horse is being retired please enquire about the retirement package
QUARANTINE
Newly opened, our quarantine facility gives owners the opportunity to send their horses direct to the Cameron Highlands where they are truly spoiled in large stables. Situated between the RHSS and the Meadows once released it’s a short float ride to either facility.
